About Me

Kitesurfing has emerged as one of my favorite activities among a long list of extreme sports that I do. From deep sea free diving to high altitude paragliding, I’ve always looked for new ways to capture my experiences. As an engineer I’ve taken it upon myself to discover and develop new ways of filming my experiences. Early in my career I became a pioneer in drones working for companies like NASA, ERL, and DJI. I worked on many cutting edge drone projects each with unique applications. From autonomous drones with augmented reality interfaces for big budget Hollywood movies, to Computer vision based tracking gimbals. I've had a lot of ambitious projects over the years but for this product, the 360 Kite Line Mount, I decided to go back to the basics. Although it’s a simple design, a good kite line mount simply didn’t exist yet, not to mention one compatible with a 360 camera. So I set out to make my own and after much interest from fellow kiters I decided to share my product and make it available for everyone. I can’t wait to see all the awesome footage people get with it!
